The Mirabeau B. Lamar Masonic Scholarship

Mirabeau B. Lamar Masonic Scholarship Raffle offers winner’s choice between, a Glock 43, a Ruger American, and a Remington 870 express. This raffle to benefit the Graduating Class of Greenville High School. This raffle is conducted by Greenville Masonic Lodge #335, a non-profit organization under the Grand Lodge of Texas. This raffle is governed by the State of Texas as outlined by the Attorney General of the State of Texas. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to be bound by these rules.

  1. The purchase price for one raffle ticket is $20.00 or 6 for $100.00. 1000 tickets will be sold. 

  2. Ticket entries shall be purchased from a Fundraising Committee Member, Scholarship Committee Member, and a Member or agent of Greenville Lodge #335. 

  3. Tickets may be purchased with cash or check. If an Entrant’s check is returned unpaid by the bank, the entry ticket(s) will be invalid unless a cash payment is received by Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 by 5:00 p.m. Central Time Tuesday, December 5, 2017, the official raffle deadline. Entrant will also be subject to all associated bank fees. 

  4. All entry purchases are final and non-refundable. 

  5. Entrant will retain the original printed raffle ticket. The stub will be entered into the drawing and will be retained by Greenville Masonic Lodge #335. 

  6. All unsold tickets and proceeds from the raffle ticket sales must be received by Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 no later than 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time Tuesday, December 5, 2017. If received after the official deadline, all monies will be returned to Entrant(s) and all associated tickets will be invalid. Additional tickets may be purchased with cash through Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 at the December Meeting until 5:00 p.m. on the drawing date, Tuesday, December 5, 2017. 

  7. The winner of the raffle will be determined by random drawing. The drawing will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at approximately 6:00p.m. Central Time at Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 2615 Stonewall St, Greenville, TX 75401. This information will also be announced via website and Facebook and the winners phone. Entrant(s) do not need to be present to win. 

  8. Winners agree to comply with all Texas Firearm Laws and Federal Firearms Laws regarding raffle winnings and firearms. Winner(s) agree to meet at a predetermined time to receive the voucher for 1 firearm per winner. 

  9. The first (1st) winner of the raffle is entitled to their choice of either a Glock 43, a Ruger American, or Remington 870 Express. The second (2nd) winner is entitled to their choice of what other 2 firearms remain after the first winners choice. The third (3rd) winner is entitled to the remaining firearm after 1 & 2 place winners selections. Winner must be of lawful age in order to claim prize and pass background check at voucher holder’s discretion. Winner shall confer with the B-Tactical of any reasons that they may be ineligible for the voucher and details related thereto. If winner is found to be ineligible the prize goes to the next drawing participant, and any/all money is considered a donation and tickets are considered void. 

  10. Winner will assume and be responsible for all incidentals, preparation, shipping and all other fees, and local, state, and federal taxes, including but not limited to all applicable sales, use, luxury, income, and special taxes associated with winning a raffle. Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 specifically disclaims all expressed or implied warranties, including without limitations warranties of merchantability. Greenville Masonic Lodge is not responsible for any losses or injuries suffered as a result of the prize. 

  11. The winner of the raffle must claim the prize within 48 hours of the drawing. If the winner does not claim the prize within 48 hours of the drawing, by responding to telephonic or electronic mail notice from Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 or agent of Greenville Masonic Lodge, the prize will be forfeited.

  12. After the prize is claimed, winner must abide by any restrictions placed on voucher by the issuing donor (e.g. expiration date for use). 

  13. The Firearm voucher for this firearm raffle must be utilized/redeemed at B-Tactical 2975, I-30 Frontage Rd, Caddo Mills, TX 75135. 

  14. Purchasers of raffle tickets must legibly write their full names, addresses, email, and telephone numbers on each individual ticket stub. If more than one name stated on a ticket stub, the first listed name shall be the Entrant. Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 shall, will and can have no obligation for payment or delivery of any prize to any person other than the Entrant. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to allocate any such prize among the participants in any multiple party entry. If the entrant is participating on behalf of a company they have the right to donate any “won” prize back to the Mirabeau B. Lamar Masonic Scholarship for use in the next fundraising venture. 

  15. Any drawing may be postponed due to weather or any state of emergency declared by the Mayor of Greenville, The Governor of Texas, or the President of the United States. In such event, a new date, place and time for the drawing will be determined by Greenville Masonic Lodge #335, which will be posted on the website and the front of lodge #335 building. 

  16. Purchasers of tickets, by participating in the raffle, release Greenville Masonic Lodge #335, its stewards, officers, members and agents from any and all liability, loss or claim arising out of any raffle prize, expressly waive any such claim and agree that the liability, if any, of the Greenville Masonic Lodge #335, its stewards, officers, members and agents shall be limited to the raffle ticket price paid. Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 makes no express or implied warranty as to the Raffle prize. 

  17. Any and all disputes, claims and controversies concerning this raffle shall be submitted to and resolved by binding arbitration, to be conducted under arbitration rules in the state of Texas. 

  18. Prize is not redeemable for cash. 

  19. Raffle is void where prohibited. 

  20. Winner(s) agree to allow Greenville Masonic Lodge #335 to publish their names and photographs in the local newspaper and social media sites
